Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the efficacy outcomes and safety concerns regarding triple antithrombotic therapy in the setting of atrial fibrillation and percutaneous coronary intervention
  • Discuss primary literature assessing safety and efficacy of dual antithrombotic therapy regimens compared to triple therapy
  • Identify gaps in the present literature where additional research regarding triple or dual antithrombotic therapy in coronary disease is warranted
