Learning Objectives:
 

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Review the FDA-approved indications, dosing, and mechanism of action for dornase alfa
  • Examine the current literature for the use of dornase alfa in non-cystic fibrosis conditions, including atelectasis, bronchiolitis, and asthma in pediatric patients
  • Discuss the role of dornase alfa in the management of non-cystic fibrosis respiratory conditions in pediatric patients
