Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

• Demonstrate understanding of sodium-glucose co-transporter-2 inhibitors (SGLT2 inhibitors) current role in therapy regarding renal and cardiovascular outcomes
• Evaluate and distinguish patients who would benefit from SGLT2 inhibitor therapy
• Implement safety and monitoring parameters associated with SGLT2 inhibitor therapy in patients
