Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

• Recognize the advantages and barriers associated with the use of extended-release naltrexone (XR-NRT) for the pharmacological treatment of opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD)
• Identify appropriate patients for the use of XR-NTX in the pharmacological treatment of OUD and AUD
• Discuss the proper counseling and monitoring of XR-NRT
