Pharmaceutical Representatives

Under each course, you will find the number of credit hours. For your PLE application, you will need to complete 10 hours/credits in order to receive your pharmaceutical sales representative license.  Please see Oregon site for more information.

• PLE Courses

Once you have completed the pre-licensing requirements, the state of Oregon will issue the individual an active license number. To keep your license up to date, each representative must complete 5 hours/credits of continuing education. These credits must be completed by the time of license renewal. https://pharmacyce.uic.edu/moodle/ will take you to our LMS Moodle platform. You will find a list of available courses, separated by PLE and PSR course offerings. Choose the course offerings that are applicable with your current Oregon license status (pre-licensed vs. licensed).

Before you can access the courses, you will create a Moodle account. If you are a Pharmaceutical Representative with an active license, please enter your license number in your profile. If you do not currently have an active license and are taking courses for your pre-licensure, please do not enter in a number into your profile. After you have been licensed, you can update your profile at a later date.

You will be able to register for the course, however, the system will not allow you to continue into the course without an NPN/Pharmaceutical Representative License number.

To find your license number, visit https://sbs.naic.org/solar-external-lookup/. Enter Oregon for the jurisdiction and select “Licensee” for the  search type.

If you signed up for the wrong course, please email pharmce@uic.edu. In the email explain which course you entered, and which course you want to be enrolled in. Our team will unenroll you from the current course and switch you to the desired course.

If you have an active Oregon pharmaceutical representative license, please ensure that license number is entered into the NPN section of your profile. This will grant you access to PSR courses.

If you are currently taking the pre-licensing course (PLE) course, please ensure that your profile does not contain any license number in the NPN selection of your profile.

Our organization uploads completions on a weekly basis. If there are complications with your upload, a member of our team will reach out to you to rectify the issue.

If you do not see your completion uploaded in your Oregon transcript within one week of course completion, please contact pharmce@uic.edu. For national recognized holidays, submission to Oregon may take slightly longer.
