- Describe a current controversy in pharmacy clinical practice
- Discuss the current literature around the controversy, strengths, and weaknesses of methodology
Seminar Learning Objectives:
- Identify potential causes of acute agitation and/or psychosis in hospitalized patients
- Review current pharmacologic management strategies for acute psychosis and/or agitation (i.e., rapid tranquilization)
- Recognize potential improvements in pharmacologic practices and how it can be incorporated at UI Health
