Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify the need and rationale for new methods to prevent bacterial STIs
  • Review literature discussing the efficacy and uptake of doxycycline for the prevention of STIs
  • Describe target populations that could benefit from the use of prophylactic doxycycline
