Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss the risk factors and prevalence of cardiovascular disease in kidney transplant recipients with or without diabetes in the United States
  • Discuss background information on SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonist and current place in therapy for CVD, ESKD, and diabetes
  • Describe current literature on use of SGLT2 inhibitors and GLP-1 receptor agonists in kidney transplant recipients
