Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Explain the interference of stigma in providing adequate care to patients with OUD in the inpatient setting
  • Review inpatient and outpatient initiation strategies for medications for opioid use disorder (MOUD) treatment
  • Discuss the challenges of inpatient OUD treatment
