Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the mechanism of action of mRNA vaccine platforms and how it differs from viral vector vaccine platforms.
  • Explain what is currently known about the efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines and where gaps in available data exist.
  • List common and serious adverse effects and monitoring parameters associated with the COVID-19 vaccines.
