Learning Objectives:

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the physiological differences between veterinary and human patients (focusing on cats and dogs) and how these differences impact drug therapy.
  • Summarize list of most commonly utilized medications for veterinary patients (focusing on cats and dogs) and where to find information when filled prescriptions.
  • Explain concerns for errors in checking and verifying veterinary prescriptions (focusing on cats and dogs)
