Learning Objectives :
At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Identify the risks and benefits of using hepatitis C virus (HCV) positive organs in renal transplantation
- Identify an appropriate drug regimen for the treatment of HCV in patients receiving HCV positive renal transplants
- Summarize the investigational medication practices being used in clinical trials for the treatment of HCV post renal transplant
