Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the pathophysiology of HFpEF and how this relates to the clinical challenge of treating HFpEF
  • Review evidence for current pharmacotherapy options in HFpEF
  • Discuss evidence for use of empagliflozin in patients with HFpEF and its potential impact on the treatment of HFpEF
