Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

• Review the thromboembolic and bleeding risks in patients with cancer
• Discuss the current literature regarding the safe and effective use of direct oral anticoagulants in the treatment of VTE in patients with cancer
•  Recognize the role of pharmacists in the selection of the appropriate anticoagulation therapy in patients with cancer
