Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the mechanism of action of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) and Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR)-T therapy in the cancer treatment
  • Explain the cardiac safety concerns and monitoring parameters associated with immuno-oncology therapy
  • Summarize current evidence for treatment of cardiac toxicity due to immuno-oncology therapy
