Learning Objectives :

At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Describe the epidemiology and pathophysiology of ASCVD in people with HIV (PWHIV)
  • Identify when to initiate and modify statin therapy in PWHIV and ASCVD risk or clinical ASCVD
  • Select appropriate statin therapy for PWHIV utilizing current guidelines
