At the completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

• Describe the pathophysiology of elevated triglycerides and the associated risk of cardiovascular disease
• Discuss the changes in guideline recommendations for the treatment of hypertriglyceridemia
• Identify the role of icosapent ethyl in the management of hypertriglyceridemia
