Program Description:
New developments in pharmacotherapy and a better understanding of cancer origins continue to revolutionize the treatment of patients with cancer and challenge the clinical pharmacist to stay abreast of emerging therapies with novel toxicities. This conference will examine approaches to the treatment of hematologic malignancies and provide an overview of new drug therapies. Highlighted topics will include a review of PARP inhibitors in ovarian cancer, anti-infective therapies, reimbursement, and updates in breast care management. In addition, the symposium will include a session on treatment advances in acute myeloid leukemia.

Registration Fee: $40.00
Registration fee includes 3.75 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit, electronic handout, continental breakfast, lunch, and parking. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.
