Program Description:
New developments in pharmacotherapy and a better understanding of cancer origins continue to revolutionize the treatment of patients with cancer and challenge the clinical pharmacist to stay abreast of emerging therapies with novel toxicities. This conference will examine approaches to the treatment of hematologic malignancies and provide an overview of new drug therapies. Highlighted topics will include a review of updates in the management of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Immuno-Oncology, discuss current concepts of pain management in cancer patients, and review the newly approved therapies in soft tissue sarcoma. In addition, the symposium will include a session on management of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.

Registration Fee:
Early Bird Rate: $30.00 until Friday, August 4, 2017
Regular Registration Rate: $40.00 after Friday, August 4, 2017
Registration fee includes 3.75 contact hours of continuing pharmacy education credit, electronic handout, continental breakfast, lunch, and parking. Space is limited and early registration is encouraged.

Please Note: All audience response questions, such as pre- and post-tests and active learning questions, will be conducted via the internet. Attendees must bring a smartphone, tablet, or laptop to this conference in order to participate in these activities and earn CE credits.
