  • Describe the evolution and available methods for heart transplantation from donation after cardiac death (DCD) donors.
  • Summarize the current evidence for DCD heart transplantation as compared with donation after brain death (DBD) heart transplantation.
  • Explain ways in which Primary graft dysfunction (PGD) after DCD heart transplantation can be managed.
