  • Describe the mechanisms of action of prothrombin complex concentrates and identify which components are beneficial in the treatment of hemorrhage due to anticoagulation.
  • Summarize current evidence supporting the use of fixed-dose versus variable-dose prothrombin complex concentrate regimens in anticoagulation reversal.
  • Explain whether present literature affirms a fixed-dose prothrombin complex concentrate regimen confers a safety benefit over a variable-dose regimen.
