  • Describe routine metabolism of carbohydrates, lipids, and protein.
  • Recognize potential signs and symptoms of metabolic crisis in a child with an inborn error of metabolism (IEM).
  • Choose an appropriate medication regimen for a child with an inborn error of metabolism.
  • Outline a monitoring plan for an IEM treatment regimen

Participants must complete the activity as described above in the Continuing Education Statement. Once completed, click on ‘Finish Attempt’, then click on ‘Submit All and Finish’ at the bottom of the page. Your post-test will automatically be graded.
