  • Review the pharmacology of bivalirudin and alternative parenteral anticoagulants used to treat acute coronary syndrome (ACS).
  • Review the safety and efficacy of bivalirudin and other parenteral anticoagulants for the treatment of ACS.
  • Discuss updates in the management of purge solution for patients receiving Impella® support.
  • Discuss pharmacologic strategies for maintenance anticoagulation during extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
