  • Compare and contrast mannitol and hypertonic saline in the treatment of elevated intracranial pressure (ICP).
  • Summarize current evidence for the treatment of elevated ICP.
  • Examine evidence for peripheral administration of hyperosmolar therapy.

Participants must complete the activity as described above in the Continuing Education Statement.
